Cala Loca is a resort born in 2003 from the idea of brothers Fabio and Diego Murgia, who decided to buy the land put up for sale by the State Railways to build a facility dedicated to lovers of Nature, the sea and good Ligurian food. In 2016, Fabio Murgia took over the company from his brother and sought an investor to support the project with additional expertise and resources. Think Fwd Group immediately embraced the project and today supports the company's growth and technological innovation, as well as the care of the #calalocommunity. Thanks to the investment of economic resources and ideas, Cala Loca has become an innovative place that respects tradition and has overcome critical moments such as the 2018 storm surge, the 2019 Morandi bridge collapse, and the impact of the outbreak caused by Covid19. Today, Cala Loca is one of the most popular destinations in western Liguria, frequented by guests from different Italian regions and many European countries.
